Ferris State University Bookstore:
The bookstore offers both online and in-store ordering/purchasing.
You can choose to order your books online, have your FSU textbooks shipped to you and have the charges for the books added to your Ferris billing account during specific time periods at the beginning of each Ferris semester.
Please note: If you owe a previous balance to FSU, you will not be allowed charge your books to your Ferris billing account.
Community College Books:
You are responsible for purchasing your community college books out of pocket. You may not charge community college books to your Ferris tuition bill.
You may be eligible for a $500 book advance if you meet ALL of the requirements listed below.
You must have a direct deposit account set up at least three weeks prior to the Ferris semester start date.
You must be a financial aid recipient and have excess financial aid after your Ferris charges are paid.
You must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at least three weeks prior to the Ferris semester start date.
All of your financial aid requirements must be complete at least three weeks prior to the Ferris semester start date.
You must have indicated "YES" to the Title IV Authorization question that is located within the Accept Award Offer tab in your MyFSU (log into MyFSU, select the Academics and Services tab, select the Accept Award Offer link, choose the appropriate school year, click on the Terms and Conditions tab).
To check for missing requirements, log into MyFSU, Select Student, Click the Financial Aid icon and follow the instructions in the Missing Requirements section.
