New Undergraduate Transfer Student Scholarships

Transfer Scholarships for Big Rapids Main Campus and KCAD Students 

These scholarships are available to new main campus and KCAD Transfer students beginning fall 2022 semester. 

** Please note that financial aid funding is subject to federal, state and institutional regulations. Financial aid awards are limited to the estimated Cost of Attendance for each student. We are finding that some students have more sources of financial aid than we can fit into their Cost of Attendance. This is a great problem to have! Please know that we will offer each student the best possible financial aid award possible under the applicable rules and regulations.

Transfer President's Scholarship

• Value - $6,500 per year/$19,500 for three years
• Criteria: 3.7 Cumulative Transfer GPA and 12 accepted Credit Hours
• Requires continuous full-time enrollment
• Automatic Consideration Upon Admission
• Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.3

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

• Value - $6,000 per year/$18,000 for three years
• Criteria: 3.5 Cumulative Transfer GPA and 12 accepted Credit Hours
• Requires continuous full-time enrollment
• Requires application and documentation of Phi Theta Kappa membership (Please note that if you are awarded the higher valued Transfer President's Scholarship, you will not be awarded the PTK Scholarship)
• Renewal cumulative GPA: 3.25

Transfer Gold Scholarship

• Value - $5,500 per year/$16,500 for three years
• Criteria: 3.3 Cumulative Transfer GPA and 12 accepted Credit Hours
• Requires continuous full-time enrollment
• Automatic Consideration Upon Admission
• Renewal cumulative GPA: 2.75

Transfer Crimson Scholarship

• Value - $3,500 per year/$10,500 for three years
• Criteria: 3.0 Cumulative Transfer GPA and 12 accepted Credit Hours
• Requires continuous full-time enrollment
• Automatic Consideration Upon Admission
• Renewal cumulative GPA: 2.75

FERRIS FORWARD TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP 

Value - $1,000
Criteria:

• 2.50 - 2.99/4.00 scale cumulative transfer GPA
• Requires continuous full-time enrollment
• May not be combined with a WNF Scholarship; however, may be combined with the Bulldog Bonus
• One-time, non-renewable award
