Living on campus is the best way to feel connected to Ferris and become a part of the Bulldog community. Here are some our our favorite reasons why you should live on campus.
Nothing beats being able to wake up at 7:45 for an 8 a.m. class. Living on campus means everything our campus has to offer you is closer at hand.
Our on-campus housing includes heat, water, electricity, internet (WiFi), and unlimited laundry. Additional services may be offered, depending on the building you live in.
National studies show students living on campus earn better grades. The difference can be as much as a full letter grade.
Campus safety is our top priority. Our housing facilities are locked and require. Ferris ID card access in addition to a dorm key. All residence halls have a 24/7 customer service desk. There are emergency blue light phones located around campus which enable students to contact 911 at the touch of a button.
Staying on campus provides you the opportunity to be a part of multiple housing & dining activities. From dining with friends to movie and game nights in the residence halls, you’re bound to have fun with friends!
Ferris State’s Dining Services proudly offer students a large variety in their dining options, including: The Rock & Quad Cafés, Erbert & Gerbert’s, Starbucks, Bulldog Bites Food Truck, The Market, Brutus Bistro and more!
Residence halls include a variety of events over the school year, from fun giveaways to movie nights and more!
Resources for academic support are right at your fingertips! On-campus locations such as the Academic Support Center, Writing Center, Center for Leadership, Activities & Career Services, are available to help students achieve both academic and career access.
We have a nutritionist that will work with students who have special dietary needs or help students with any nutritional questions/concerns. The Student Recreational Center also has fitness equipment, swimming pool, basketball courts, a rock wall, and fun classes to stay fit and relieve stress!
We are proud to be a globally diverse university and campus. We believe that learning from each other is one of the best parts of the college experience. Live here and be a part of our community! Join student organizations, intramural teams, attend concerts, lectures, and plays! Get an on-campus job. Support our football team at Top Taggart Field or our hockey team at the Ewigleben Sports Arena.
