Biography

Dr. Lisa Salvati currently serves as an associate professor of pharmacy practice and the coordinator of interprofessional education at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy (FSU COP). She began working at FSU COP as an adjunct faculty member in September 2013 and transitioned to full-time, tenure-track faculty member in January 2014. Her clinical practice site is at the Trinity Health Medical Group Academic Family Medicine Residency Center in Grand Rapids where she takes third and fourth year students on clinical rotations. Her teaching interests include topics related to community pharmacy practice, ambulatory care pharmacy practice, interprofessional education, and medication therapy management with research areas focusing on interprofessional education and various ambulatory care topics. She completed a PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency with Meijer, Ferris State University and Pfizer. Prior to working at FSU COP, she worked for Meijer as both a staff and clinical pharmacist.
