Biography

I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan in 2018. I then received advanced clinical training by completing post-graduate residencies in pharmacy practice and infectious diseases, respectively, at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. After two years of clinical practice in acute care medicine, I pursued a postdoctoral research fellowship in infectious diseases health outcomes at Wayne State University. I completed the fellowship in 2024 before joining the faculty at Ferris State University. My research interests and expertise include examining real-world antibiotic prescribing patterns for drug-resistant infections, evaluating clinical outcomes related to novel therapies, and developing innovative antimicrobial stewardship strategies.
