Biography

Dr. Bernknopf has specialty training in the area of drug information and a degree in medical informatics. Her primary passion is teaching students and implementing better ways to help students learn. She looks for new ways to teach and is interested in how technology can be utilized to help people learn, in the classroom and healthcare settings, and how technology can be leveraged to improve patient care. She runs the Drug Information Center for the College of Pharmacy where healthcare practitioners can obtain help with answering drug information questions and literature searching/evaluation. She is currently involved in scholarly activity related to the areas of medical misinformation, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
