Biography

Dr. Nybo grew up in Knoxville, TN until he left for Lexington, KY where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies. He graduated with a B.A. in Biology and Classics from Transylvania University in 2006. He went onto complete his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 2011.

He conducted a postdoctoral fellowship in the University of Kentucky Department of Plant and Soil Sciences from 2011-2014 in microbial biofuels research. In 2013, Dr. Nybo was invited back to Transylvania University as a Visiting Assistant Professor of General Chemistry.

Dr. Nybo joined the faculty of the College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in July 2014.
