Bulldog Bonus Scholarship

If you're a new student for Fall 2025, you can snag up to $1,000 in scholarship dollars just for completing simple tasks to get ready for classes.

Steps to Qualifying for the Bulldog Bonus Scholarship

Be Admitted

You will need to be admitted as a new student into an undergraduate, degree-granting program for Fall 2025 semester by March 15, 2025.

Send your official high school or college transcripts to the Admissions office by March 15, 2025.

WorkShop

Register for (and make sure to attend!) one of our Virtual Financial Aid Workshops.

FAFSA

File and submit a valid 2025 - 2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Make sure to list Ferris State University, using our school code, 002260, by March 15, 2025.

Complete the orientation process for your campus or program. The process will be a little different depending on whether you're attending our main campus, KCAD, or completing an online or off-campus program. Check out the details below.

Bulldog Bonus Scholarship

  • Bulldog Bonus Scholarships are non-renewable and require full-time enrollment at Ferris State University's Big Rapids campus, at Kendall College of Art & Design, or Ferris Statewide/online, as a new freshman or a new transfer student. 
  • Bulldog Bonus Scholarships may be "stacked" with WNF Scholarships.
  • Award eligibility is limited to each student's estimated Cost of Attendance in accordance with  federal financial aid regulations.
