History Program

The historians at Ferris engage their students into critical discussions about the past with the goals of creating a broader understanding of the human experience, building conscientious citizens of the world and inspiring lifelong learning. Students enrolled in the history program prepare themselves for careers in education, libraries and archives, government, the park service and other research-related fields. Many graduates go on to graduate school to study history, law, education and business.
