Tayani Institute

Tayani Institute is a premier private Ophthalmology and Optometry practice with 6 locations in Orange County California. Besides our core locations in San Clemente, Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills, we have purchased practices in Santa Ana, Brea, and Oceanside. We strive to provide outstanding care to all of our patients. We have a large percentage of patients that have HMO insurance with corresponding Vision plans. Our interns are taught to code and bill their exams as well as determine assessments and plans for all clinic patients. Our site offers interns the option first hand to observe cataract surgery, MIGS surgery, ocular cosmetic surgery , strabismus surgery and anterior segment surgery. The interns will then be able to see the patients post operatively and follow through with the care of the surgical patients. All interns are required to rotate at all of our sites so that they will need good transportation to get there. Our clinics schedule around 20 patients daily with vision patients mingled with medical patients. Interns will learn to determine what type of exams to conduct depending on the patient's chief complaint.

Tayani Institute is requiring the COVID-19 vaccination and boosters. No exemptions will be accepted at this time. 

Students should contact Dr. Rebecca Ng 8 weeks prior to the first day of the rotation to verify start and ending dates, times, directions, preparations for training and other specific health test requirements.
