Tuesday - 10:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.
Wednesday - 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday - 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday - Kensington Site - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Externs will work 40 hours a week in direct patient care and have between 7-12 patient encounters per day. 

Take ON-402 E, ON-401 E and ON-403 E to Royal Windsor Dr in Oakville, Canada. Take exit 119 from ON-403 E, Continue on Royal Windsor Dr to your destination in Mississauga.

To improve the intern's ability to:

• Provide student(s) with diverse clinical settings that offer a range of routine and specialty patient encounters.  Specialty encounters to focus on myopia management, ocular surface disease care and custom contact lenses.
• Engage student(s) in active clinical decision making by using evidence based knowledge.
• Expose student(s) to practice management principles, both of lessons learned and short/long-term goal planning for a cold start practice in year 3. 

It is the responsibility of the intern to find housing. Average apartment cost can range from $1,000-$2,000/month.
