BIG RAPIDS, Mich. —

Students who have chosen Ferris State University for collegiate learning can get closer to their future Bulldog experience at the Admitted Student Open House on Saturday, March 22.

The event is planned for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the David L. Eisler Center, 805 Campus Drive.

Assistant Director of Orientation Emily Hicks said many students will bring family members or other guests, learning about campus resources.

“We had nearly 200 students attend a recent open house, which meant a vast majority of those who expressed interest took part in the day’s activities,” Hicks said. “Each student is offered a presentation from the Office of Housing and Residence Life, our Financial Aid experts and Student Life professionals. They will also meet with their college during this event.”

Hicks said following the group session, students and guests have additional options to broaden their campus experience.

“We will offer a complimentary meal at The Rock Café, and guided campus tours are available,” she added. “Student IDs cards will be distributed later in the onboarding process, but ID pictures can be taken during the open house.”

The Office of Admissions and The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid welcome inquiries from admitted and prospective students on weekdays during normal business hours.
