Ferris State Annual Auto Expo connects students, community with industry leaders on April 11
Ferris State University’s School of Automotive and Heavy Equipment will welcome students, industry professionals, and the public to campus for the annual Auto Expo on Thursday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This immersive event provides attendees with a firsthand look at Ferris State’s cutting-edge automotive programs, including the introduction of the new Sustainable Transportation Service associate’s degree. Featuring a car show, career fair, guided tours, and hands-on demonstrations, the Auto Expo serves as a hub for networking and career exploration in the automotive industry.
“Our goal is to highlight the incredible opportunities available in the automotive field while strengthening our connections with industry partners,” said Patrick English, professor and program coordinator for the School of Automotive and Heavy Equipment. “The Auto Expo allows current and prospective students to engage with industry leaders, explore career paths, and experience the advanced technology that defines our programs.”
The Auto Expo traces its roots back to the Technician of the Future Days, a longstanding Ferris tradition that was revived post-pandemic to showcase the university’s top-tier automotive education. Today, Ferris State’s automotive programs stand out as national leaders, offering two four-year degree options that prepare graduates for dynamic careers in the industry.
Attendees can expect:
