High school and transfer students with a passion for art and design are invited to explore their creative future at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University’s upcoming “Connect to KCAD” events.
Designed to provide prospective students and their supporters with a comprehensive introduction to the college and its vibrant creative community, Connect to KCAD will take place from, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, Wednesday, March 20, and Tuesday, April 30.
Attendees will have the chance to connect with faculty and students about the student-centered experiences that make KCAD a dynamic and supportive place to learn and create. A complimentary lunch is included for all registered guests.
Each event includes a guided tour of KCAD’s downtown Grand Rapids campus and an overview of application requirements, financial aid opportunities, and other essential information.
“We’re excited to give prospective students and supporters an inside look into our campus community,” said Mandy Zweifel-Hughes, KCAD assistant director of Admissions. “It’s a chance for aspiring artists and designers to envision their creative path as a KCAD student.”
Prospective students are encouraged to bring their portfolios for optional feedback sessions with KCAD admissions counselors.
During the April 30 event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore KCAD's 2024 Annual Student Exhibition, showcasing a wide range of art and design work from graduating seniors.
