Are you new to Ferris, or have not set up your alternative email for passphrase resets? Please follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Note: If you have already set up your alternative email address in the passphrase management tool, you may skip to Step 3.
Look up your Ferris username.
You must set up an alternative email address before you will be able to reset your passphrase using the FSU Passphrase Management Tool.
Details are outlined in the screenshots below.
Set up your Alternative Email Account.
To complete the set up process, Change your Passphrase. You must have an alternative email set before you attempt to change your passphrase.
When you click Next, you will get a security code sent to your alternative email address.
After you enter the security code, enter (and confirm) the passphrase you want to change to.
Note: Try to avoid using special characters and spaces when making your passphrase because they may cause troubles with the Banner system.
