Biography

I started my professional career, here at Ferris State University, where I graduated from the Clinical Laboratory Sciences program. After completing this program, I was granted a position as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a hospital laboratory, where I worked for several years in all departments of the laboratory. Later, receiving a position as the Medical Laboratory Scientist-Blood Bank Supervisor, where I oversaw all testing performed by personnel, directly related to Blood Banking and transfusions.

Alongside other Faculty/Staff, I am interested in the continued training and education of more Medical Laboratory Scientists in all departments of medical laboratories, with a special interest in Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine.
