The CHOICES program is a psycho-educational group for students who have run into difficulties related to alcohol and/or other drug use on or off campus. Frequently these difficulties include; minors in possession of alcohol, drinking in the residence halls, inappropriate use of alcohol and/or other drugs on campus, driving while impaired, drunk  driving, etc.  Most often this group involves individual referrals from the Office of Student Conduct and/or may be referred by a court system or probation office.

Students who are referred to the CHOICES program begin by coming to the Counseling Center to complete a registration and intake form. Students are given an appointment usually within a week to meet for an individual appointment to get them registered for the program. During this appointment meeting, the student will be given a start date and general information about how the program operates. A current schedule of meeting dates and times may be obtained by contacting the FSU-CC at 231-591-5968.
