Biography

Dr. Yiqun Liu's research expertise lies in lithium-ion batteries, vehicle electrification, and internal combustion engines. He has led and collaborated on numerous high-impact research projects with globally recognized companies and institutions, including General Motors, Siemens, Aramco, ANSYS, and Argonne National Laboratory, among others. Dr. Liu has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications, which have collectively been cited more than 1,000 times. His work has garnered significant recognition, leading to invitations to present at major international engineering conferences. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Liu serves as a Review Editor for Frontiers in Energy Research and as a Special Issue Editor for MDPI Vehicles. He is also an active member of both the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society.
