  • Focus the Nation, February 27, 2008 (Slide Show)
Originally scheduled as part of the nation-wide event for January 30 and rescheduled due to inclement weather, Focus the Nation offered more than 200 students, faculty, and community members an opportunity to share information about how we can act locally to address the global warming issue. Participants enjoyed refreshments at an information mall with tables representing various community organizations involved in the sustainability movement. Next, a panel of campus and community leaders informed the audience about what is currently being done locally and responded to questions. Finally, the audience viewed a rebroadcast of the January 30 presentation of The 2% Solution webcast.
