The goal of the Ferris MBA program is translating the core business competencies and skills into a curriculum that promotes values and processes that contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives. The learning experience is facilitated by an instructional process that models the concepts, provides the conceptual underpinnings, and promotes real-world application of these concepts.
The Ferris MBA is built around Performance Management concepts, the Balanced Scorecard
and the seven criteria of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) Criteria
for Performance Excellence. Consistent with the MBNQA criteria, the program focuses
on leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, information and analysis,
human resources, process management and business results.

Students enrolled in the MBA degree program may also select Advanced Study Certificates in Security and Networking (ASSN), E-Business and Systems Integration (ASSI), or Business Intelligence and Informatics (ASBI) from the MS-ISM program.
Second year Doctorate of Pharmacy students may pursue concurrent PharmD and MBA degrees when meeting admission requirements. MBA Pharmacy students interested in advancing their career in corporate pharmacy, health systems, or pharmaceutical industry careers.
Junior year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program majors may apply for fourth and fifth year dual enrollment in Accountancy and MBA degree programs. Successful students earn their Bachelors degree, Accounting Masters degree, and satisfy the 150 minimum credit hours required to practice as a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Nursing MBA students who hold a RN license may select a 12 hour concentration from the MSN Masters program. Masters MSN degree students may select a 12 hour Administration Concentration from the Nursing MBA Program.
