The course will focus on the history, politics, culture and economy of Great Britain to better understand the context within which the National Health Service developed. Visits to historical sites, meetings with health care leaders and mingling with British people will allow you to experience a culture that, although not greatly different from the U.S., is different enough to have contrasting ideas about how health care should be delivered to their poplulation.
