High School/Juniors: Registered a team-leading 64 points on 24 goals with 40 assists in 58 games for the Yorkton (Saskatchewan) Terriers of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) in the 2006-07 season . . . Placed seventh among the final 2006-07 SJHL leaders in points while ranking sixth and 19th in assists and goals, respectively . . . Played three seasons (2004-05, 2005-06, and 2006-07) at Yorkton for head coach Ed Zawatsky . . . The 2006-07 team captain was the winner of both the Terriers' Top Scorer Award and Dedication & Serves Community Award . . . A 2006-07 co-honoree of the Coach's Award and was the third star of the program's Three Star Award . . . Concluded the 2006-07 regular-season campaign with eight lamplighters and two helpers in six outings en route to attaining SJHL Player of the Month for February 2007 . . . Selected as the Yorkton’s' recipient of the Credit Union MasterCard Community Leadership Award in December 2006 . . . Posted 47 points with 21 goals and 26 assists in 53 2005-06 contests as Terriers won SJHL title for second straight season . . . Had 25 points (16-9=25) in 52 outings for 2004-05 campaign . . . Skated for the Swift Current (Saskatchewan) Legionnaires in 2003-04 and generated 22 points (12-10=22) in 37 encounters and was recipient of the Coaches Award . . . Played for Team Canada in August 2006 tourney in Sweden . . . Graduated in 2004 from Chaplin (Saskatchewan) Secondary School and played hockey under head coach Chris Sharp . . . Participated in volleyball, badminton, track and golf.
