FERRIS HOCKEY TO APPEAR ON CSTV THIS SATURDAY NIGHT
College Sports Television To Televise Bulldogs' Game At Northern Michigan
The Ferris State University menís ice hockey team will be making its first College Sports Television (CSTV) appearance of the 2006-07 season this Saturday (Jan. 6) as the Bulldogs square off against the Northern Michigan University Wildcats in a Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) contest at NMU's Berry Events Center in Marquette, Mich. Opening faceoff is set for 8:05 p.m. (EST).
The game can be viewed live on either DirecTV channel 610 or Dish Network channel 152. Jason Knapp will be calling the play-by-play with Troy Ward serving as an analyst.
The contest was originally slated for a 7:35 p.m. (EST) start but was switched to 8:05 p.m. (EST) in order to accomodate the CSTV telecast.
The Bulldogs, who are presently 4-12-3 overall and 2-9-2 in the CCHA, will again appear on CSTV Friday, Jan. 26 versus the University of Michigan Wolverines at UM's Yost Ice Arena in Ann Arbor, Mich. A 7:35 p.m. (EST) start time is scheduled for the weekend series opener.
Ferris State and Northern Michigan will meet for the first time in the 2006-07 regular season this Friday (Jan. 5) in a 7:35 p.m. (EST) CCHA encounter at the Berry Events Center.
