Gridiron Club To Hold Post-Game Reception This Saturday

Gridiron Club The Ferris State University Gridiron Club will be holding a post-game reception following Saturday's (Sept. 27) Bulldog Football Hall of Fame Game against Northern Michigan, which kicks off at 2 p.m. (EDT) on the recently-installed Mondo Ecofill artificial surface at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich.

The reception will take place immediately following the game in a designated dining area at the 7-10 Bar and Grill located inside "The Gate", which is the family entertainment complex located on Perry Street.

Popcorn will be available and special discounted menu items will be available for Gridiron Club members and Bulldog fans attending Saturday's game. The event is open to the public with everyone encouraged to attend.

"The Gate", which opened in 2007, offers a variety of entertainment options including bowling, a restaurant, sports bar, arcade and pro shop all under a single roof. Formerly known as Eastgate Lanes on the east side of Big Rapids, the business relocated into the former Denny's Valueland store near Staples.

The facility also features numerous televisions and screens, which will enable fans to continue watching all the sports action Saturday evening.

Servers at the 7-10 Bar and Grill will be wearing FSU football jerseys for easy identification.

The Gridiron Club will also hold receptions at "The Gate" after FSU's home games against Northwood (Oct. 25) and Saginaw Valley State (Nov. 8) later this season. The reception after the Wayne State (Oct. 18) contest will take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center as part of the homecoming activities.
