Ferris Mourns Student's Death

The Ferris State University community is deeply saddened by the death of Demia Marie Davis, 18 of Madison Heights. An active participant in Clark Hall activities and the Rugby team, Ms. Davis made a lasting impact on those whom she met with her laughter, smile and positive personality. The Ferris State University Department of Public Safety was dispatched to Clark Hall on Nov. 14, 2011 to conduct a medical emergency/death investigation after Ms. Davis was found unresponsive by her roommate. Authorities report the preliminary investigation points to no signs of foul play.
