TITLE: Credit Scoring Methodology in Banking
Abstract:
This talk will
discuss the statistical methodology used in building scoring models for the
banking industry. Scoring model will be
defined and several examples of scoring models will be given. The use of logistic regression in building
scoring models will be explained. The
difference between logistic regression and linear regression will be
demonstrated. The so-called ‘reject
inference’ problem will be discussed.
