English Education at Ferris State: Welcome!

The English Education program at Ferris State prepares students for literature, writing, and language arts teaching in secondary education. We offer a program of study for those who have a love of literature and language as well as a desire to share their passion with high school and middle school students.

An array of literature, writing, language and rhetoric courses offers English Education students a blend of classical and modern literature, written and oral skills, and critical and creative approaches to language studies.
