Lambda Pi Eta communication honor society is the official undergraduate honor society of the National Communication Association and a member of the American Association of Honor Societies. Students are invited to membership when they meet the following criteria:
The Ferris Delta Epsilon chapter
was chartered in 1996.
It is also named in
remembrance of Karen A. Paquette who was chapter president in our
second year before her untimely death due to brain cancer.
Our chapter is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) with an average annual membership of 15-20 students. We hold induction ceremonies each semester, sponsor bottle and can recycling in Johnson Hall, and co-sponsor the fall Campus-Wide Public Speaking Contest with Pi Kappa Delta national forensics honorary. We also provide service to the Communication faculty as requested.
