Admission to the Clinical Programs
The qualification criteria and application forms for each clinical program can be accessed on the CHP website (see link below). Students are urged to review this information carefully to determine what is needed to qualify for their program and if they meet all the classes, grades and GPA.

Competitive Entry for the Traditional Nursing Program
Effective 2016 admission cycle
With the next application cycle, March 2016, qualified applicants will have the opportunity to apply for early admission to the traditional Nursing program. The applicant will be required to meet the following criteria:
With the application packet in March, you will be required to submit the application material noted at the bottom of the page, an application attachment that designates you are applying for a competitive seat, (this will be available after January). Along with a GPA calculator attachment which will document your GPA for the qualifying courses.
Selection of competitive seats, will be reviewed for candidates who meet the above requirements. We will accept the top 16 students (25% of the seats) with the highest GPA for their qualifying courses.
Changes in the Accelerated 2nd Degree Program
What are the changes?
Effective as of the 2016 admission cycle the accelerated nursing program will be suspended. The School of Nursing will be working on curriculum changes to all BSN programs. No definite timeline has been set for re-opening this program.
