Plant a Tree

Commemorate an important event in your life such as the birth of a child, a marriage or an anniversary by planting a tree on the FSU campus. Families have honored graduate's achievements with a gift that grows with his or her success. Loved ones can be remembered with a special living memorial. Your gift will be appreciated by generations of students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.

You may select from several tree varieties that have been chosen for their local hardiness or request a specific variety. Note that requests for a specific variety are subject to approval by the grounds director based on suitability to our climate.

The cost of your tree includes a name plate, planting in a location of your choice (subject to approval) and continuous care by our dedicated grounds staff. Should your tree be damaged by weather or other factors, it will be replaced at no charge. Upon request, a certificate signed by our University President, will be provided to you to present to the honoree.
