Sock Hop Event Marks 25 Years of Hospitality Gala

March 3, 2016

The College of Business Hospitality Management Program will celebrate their 25th annual gala featuring an authentic 1950s-style sock hop. On Friday, April 1, 2016, in the University Center Ballroom, guests can enjoy delicious appetizers and floats and participate in a Silent Auction for items that range from travel packages to original artwork. Proceeds of the fundraiser will support Hospitality Management programs.

The dedication and commitment of Professor Julie Doyle and Dr. Lianne Briggs will be celebrated during the gala; they have been involved for all 25 years of this Hospitality Management program experience.

The evening will continue with dancing to the music of the Original Rockin’ Fenderskirts and a five-course meal prepared under the leadership of the Hospitality program’s team of Executive Guest Chefs.

Seating ranges from $45 for Hospitality Gala Young Professionals to $750 for seating for 10 guests. For more information regarding the 25th Annual Hospitality Gala or to reserve your spot, check out the Hospitality Management homepage.
