College of Business to Host “[Risky] Pizza with the [Risk] Profs”

November 2, 2018

The Risk Management and Insurance professors will host “[Risky] Pizza with the [Risk] Profs” on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in BUS 205 from 11–11:50 a.m.

This informal conversation about risk management, insurance, and related career opportunities won’t be just another discussion panel. Attendees can participate in real-world, honest interactions with the “[Risk] Profs” and hear their personal stories. There will be an open Q&A for any questions about the program and field.  All students curious about the program and industry as well as current Risk Management and Insurance students are welcome to attend.

The Risk Management and Insurance program thoroughly covers insurance law, risk management principles, property and casualty, employee benefits, personal insurance, and insurance company operations. Some of the key classes are Foundations of Risk Management & Insurance, Personal Insurance, and Enterprise Risk Management.

In addition to existing regional and state accreditation, this program will qualify and apply for ACBSP professional accreditation upon graduation of its first cohort.
