Professional activities and areas of interest
Professor Cronk is the Coordinator of the Music Industry Managment Program at Ferris State University as well as the Faculty Advisor to the Registered Student Organization MIMA (Music Industry Management Association). MIMA functions as a Model Production Company that provides continuous learning opportunites for MIM Majors that result in resume' worthy experience. Professor Cronk is a member of the National Association of Recording Merchandisers, of Workforce Development (faculty advisor)for the National Association of Music Merchants, and has been an Associate Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Practical application is the foundation of Professor Cronk's teaching philosophy/style that is supported naturally by a "learner centered" classroom.
