Professional activities and areas of interest

Mickey Albright is A BULLDOG! As a Ferris student, she performed many roles on campus including Asst. Residence Hall Director, Orientation/Admissions Representative, and clerical worker in several different departments while also maintaining jobs in restaurants & retail to put herself through college. Mickey was a percussionist in the FSU Marching & Jazz Bands, belonged to student organizations,and was a member of the FSU Homecoming Court. 

Upon graduation, she worked as a part-time clerical worker under the Dean of Student Life before entering the Hospitality Industry as a full-time career. Mickey has worked in all aspects of the Restaurant Industry including Chef, Waitstaff, "Front & Back of House" Operations, Supervisory Management of multiple locations, and was an owner/operator of 2 restaurants which specialized in healthy dining choices.

Working as the Secretary for the Hospitality Programs at Ferris, Mickey is able to share her knowledge and skills with the students preparing to enter these career fields. She also continues to operate a business as Personal Chef and maintains food/nutrition blogs on several social networks.
