Professional activities and areas of interest
An award-winning designer of online experiences, brand identities, and corporate communications, Alison's focus is strategic design management in business and the integration of designed solutions across multiple disciplines. Alison promotes the strategic value of design as a new way of seeing and leading. Good design strategy leads new business strategy. Her creative solutions have been recognized in over forty industry books, awards, and annuals. She is a long-time member of AIGA, the professional association for design. In the classroom she works to foster students' own discovery of the power of design. She teaches courses in interaction design, design survey, and typography.
