Professional activities and areas of interest
Dr. Bolling is a Professor of Management in FSU’s College of Business as well as a practicing business consultant. At FSU he instructs graduate and undergraduate courses in Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining academia, he held various senior-level positions in the energy industry. Dr. Bolling is presently researching/writing a new book, Polluted World & Future Energy Choices©. In 2009 he co-authored Competitive Electricity Markets: The Power of Choice© (ISBN: 978-0-557-16017-4) which critiques the economic and environmental efficiency of the US electricity industry. In 2007, he wrote Ground-Zero Management: Serving Customers Like Your Job Depends On It© (ISBN: 978-1-4303-1437-0) which explores customer service failures and gap-closing strategies. Dr. Bolling holds a PhD in Business Administration and Political Economics from Wayne State University.
