Accountancy
Accountants are in very high demand by the private sector and government agencies such as the IRS, FBI and CIA. Accounting provides an excellent background for a law degree.
Advertising/Integrated Marketing Communications
You get a degree that features all the promotion forms companies are using now: advertising, publicity, and sales promotion, plus digital & social media. And unlike other colleges, your degree is taught as a business program. Why? Because that's where most of the jobs are. It's "Ferris" focus.
Business Data Analytics
Business Data Analytics is used to discover interesting patterns in large data sets potentially useful to increase revenue, cut cost, detect fraud, or assess risk.
Business Administration
The goal of this program is to prepare students to succeed in a fast paced and competitive world. A combination of application oriented courses, tracks that allow students to pursue specific areas of interest with business, faculty with real world experience, internship opportunities and active student engagement help us fulfill this goal.
Computer Information Systems
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), some of the fastest growth jobs for 2008-2018 are in computer and computing-related positions. The BLS also predicts that professional and service occupations will increase the fastest, and will account for over 50 percent of the total job growth during the decade.
Computer Information Technology
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), employment of computer support specialists and system administrators is expected to increase by 18 percent from 2006 - 2018 (estimated 155,000 new jobs), which is much faster than the average for all occupations.
Finance
The program equips students with the theoretical understanding and practical skills necessary to make financial decisions in order to maximize the value of the resources being managed
Graphic Communications
In Graphic Communications students adapt to new digital methods such as traditional offset lithographs and become advocate in computer technology and visually creative.
Graphic Design
Our graduates are able to conceptualize, prototype and execute the appropriate visual form for any communication problem. It’s business-based with a market-driven curriculum. We know that designers not only create, they need to perform well in business.
Graphic Media Management
In Graphic Media Management students learn the core operation processes of production planning, estimating, cost analysis, process and color management and workflow automation.
Health Care Marketing
Health Care Marketing is a growing industry that faces great opportunities and challenges. Managers must have knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation, showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Hospitality
The Hospitality Management Program effectively prepares students through four main tracks: Hotel, Resort, Restaurant &Food Industry, and Dietary Food Service Management.
Human Resource Management
As a student, you have the opportunity to develop expertise in human resource management through courses in employment law, compensation, negotiations, and international human resource management.
Information Security and Intelligence
The Information Security and Intelligence degree prepares you for a variety of career possibilities in fields that allow you to see your contribution in action.
Insurance and Risk Management
Insurance is one of life’s “required essentials”. Everybody needs it: individuals, businesses, governmental units, and non-profit organizations.
Legal Studies
FSU’s Legal Studies program is an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program which provides students with a career focused curriculum that emphasizes a broad knowledge of the law and the importance of legal research and writing skills.
Master of Science in Information Security and Intelligence
The MS-ISI prepares students for careers in Business Intelligence, Incident Response (proactive and reactive in areas such as hacking and digital forensics), and Project Management utilizing secure practices. Positions include security officers, analysts, forensics experts, project managers, and technical managers.
Master of Business Administration
The Master in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree specializing in organizational systems and performance metrics, focusing on the philosophies associated with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria and the Balanced Scorecard.
Music Industry Management
Our combination of hands-on experience, solid academic preparation, and close ties to the industry make MIM graduates desirable candidates for employment.

Ferris hosts the ONLY program in the nation offering public relations as a business degree. Plus, Ferris public relations is the ONLY nationally certified program in the state.
