November 22, 2016

PGA Player Development Coordinator for the PGA Golf Management Program, Mark Wilson, was published in the November issue of PGA Magazine where he looks back on the Ryder Cup Rulings.

As the Chief Referee for the 41st Ryder Cup at Hazeltine National Golf Club, his responsibilities included making assignments for the match referees and assisting the referees with any questions they had during the matches.

Over the span of six days, Wilson was the leader for 14 individual skilled and experienced  match referees that helped to ensure that these matches were played fairly and in accordance with the Rules of Golf.

The PGA Golf Management program at Ferris was the first of its kind sanctioned by the PGA of America in 1975. This program prepares students to manage a club or shop, as well as for many other golf-related careers.
