Alum’s Skills Highlighted by Liam Neeson

January 15, 2015

Ferris College of Business alum Casey Wiggins entered–and won!–the Taken 3 Particular Set of Skills contest, created by LinkedIn and 20th-Century Fox. The contest was conducted through LinkedIn, where a member’s profile was judged for particular skill sets. The prize was a video of Taken 3’s Brian Mills (Liam Neeson) talking about the winner’s skills.

In the video, Brian Mills (Liam Neeson) showcases Wiggins’s skills–computer forensics, network security, and vulnerability assessment–and his alma mater. Wiggins graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Security Intelligence (ISI). He currently is a PC Tech at Micro Source of Michiana.

Wiggins originally heard about the contest on YouTube, via 20th-Century Fox Studios. When he entered through the Taken 3 LinkedIn page, Wiggins thought, “How cool would it be to have ‘Bryan Mills’ Liam Neeson talk about me and endorse my skills?”

When he won, he says his jaw dropped open and he couldn’t believe it. Wiggins hopes this video will help further his career in Information Security/Forensics.
