AMA Makes National Top Ten

The Ferris American Marketing Association (AMA) has learned they made the Top Ten in the nation for the Collegiate Case Competition, for the third year in a row. The Collegiate Case Competition is a year-long event that offers top marketing students to work on a real-world marketing challenge to solve.

The first year, AMA placed second in the national competition; last year they placed third. This year the “case,” the real-world challenge, is for Cool Blasts Chews. The case team will present its strategies to Hershey executives in New Orleans in March, and hopes to place first.

“The case team has been learning and growing together throughout this whole process,” said case leader Ashley Soller. “We are all really excited to show the Hershey executives all of our hard work.”

Soller and her 11 colleagues; Margeaux Donavan, Miranda Marerty, John SIms, KIki Camuso, Katie Williams, Tyler Luptowski, Justin O’Donoghue, Zachary McGillis, Diana Vicario, Josh VanGorden and Nathan Heilman are making final touches to their presentation and look forward to showcasing their talents in March.
