College Accounting Degree Applicants must present evidence of graduation from high school or the GED. To enter an Associate degree in accounting (A.A.S.) Program in Business at Ferris State University, applicants are expected to meet two of the following Associates Degree Accounting (College AAS Degree Accounting) Academic requirements: a minimum high school grade point average of 2.35 (on a 4.00 scale); ACT math score of 17 or higher; an ACT reading score of 17 or higher.

Our Michigan Associates Degree Accounting program leads to a college associate degree in applied science. Associates Degree Accounting Graduation requires a minimum 2.0 GPA in core and related classes, in the college accounting major and overall. Associates Degree Accounting Students must complete all General Education requirements of the Ferris State University AAS degree accounting as specified.

About Ferris State University: College classes including our College Accounting Classes, are taught at all levels by professional teachers, not graduate assistants. College students and accounting degree majors at Ferris State University, including our Associates Degree Accounting and Bachelor's Degree Accounting students, study in more than 170 different college educational programs -- including doctorate degrees, masters degrees, bachelors degree and associate degree programs.

Seven of the Ferris' Michigan colleges are based in Big Rapids, Michigan - Allied Health Sciences, Arts and Sciences, College of Business, Education and Human Services, Optometry, Pharmacy and Technology. Ferris' College of Professional and Technological studies, and Kendall College of Art and Design are based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. College accounting degree courses are also offered at campus sites through the Ferris State University College of Professional and Technological Studies.

The group presentation, by one of our admissions recruiters, includes information on academic offerings, scholarships, housing, student life, and costs. A question and answer period follows the presentation and includes a few surprises! Lunch is provided at one of our well known dining facilities on campus. After lunch, guests may take part in a walking tour of campus led by one of our exceptional student guides. The walking tour takes approximately 1 hour.
