 Locations: Main Campus

Write about Anything, Anytime, Anywhere, for Anyone

Good writers work everywhere: in business, industry, education, government, social organizations and medical facilities. Any organization that needs its message and information communicated effectively and efficiently needs writers with solid writing and editing skills—and a background in the specialized area. That's who we are.

What Will I Study?

Writing, writing, writing. Editing, project management, audience analysis, layout/design and persuasion. You will work with clients to craft and deliver their message effectively. You will work in various writing formats: proposals, reports, newsletters, specifications, directions and instructions, websites, articles, white papers, project plans and online help.

Why Choose This Major?

Are you creative, detail-oriented, thorough, self-motivated, critical and analytical, flexible, accurate, independent and imaginative? Do you enjoy writing and editing, graphic design, problem solving, project management, researching, and visual and verbal communication? If so, technical and professional writing may be a perfect career for you!
