Graduation is the Goal
Focus on Financial Assistance
At Ferris, we are committed to controlling costs and helping students manage college
expenses. Our Financial Aid office provides great guidance and a variety of forms of financial support such as
scholarships, grants, work study programs and student loans. More than 81 percent of our students receive financial aid, and we award more than
$164 million in financial aid each year. Merit and need-based scholarships are also
available.
Regardless of income the Free Application for Federal Student Aid should be filed each year of college attendance. This allows the award of one of
our many forms of financial support.
We strongly recommend that students file their FAFSA online. To obtain a PIN number for an electronic signature for you and your student, go to the Federal pin issuing site. We encourage students to complete admissions requirements and file the FAFSA as
soon after January 1 as possible to ensure consideration for all possible financial
aid.
Cost to Attend
A top-quality education still comes at a competitive rate at Ferris. Tuition, fees,
housing and dining for undergraduates averages less than $22,000 annually, or $357
per credit hour. At Ferris, our cost of attendance are comparable to other Michigan institutions but include personalized, expert attention
in majors that lead to in-demand careers.
