The LGBTQ community includes but is not limited to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer identifying individuals. The counseling center offers a welcoming environment. This facility offers counseling services where we strive to create an environment committed to diversity and mutual respect, where all students can feel SAFE in discussing issues that shape and individualize us, regardless of gender orientation, political perspective, or religious belief. The counseling center is noted as a "SAFE PLACE" on campus wishing to be supportive towards the LGBTQ campus community.

DSAGA (Diverse Sexuality and Gender Alliance)

DSAGA meets Wednesdays in Rankin Student Center room 125 from 8pm to 10pm. DSAGA is an organization on campus that accommodates LGBTQ related issues, and is open to the Big Rapids community.
