The Robert F. Williams Scholarship

Robert F. WilliamsThe Robert F. Williams Scholarship is offered to black students who have earned at least sophomore status (30 semester hours) at Ferris State University. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, involvement in extracurricular activities and a 500-word essay on why you should receive the scholarship are also required. The scholarship was established in the memory of Robert F. Williams, a former member of the Ferris faculty who taught English and black literature and who led the Ferris State College Voices of Freedom Choir.
