Do medical/nursing students or physician assistants work at the Health Center?
No. The medical staff is composed of two full-time physicians, four full-time registered
nurses and a registered pharmacist. Dr. Keith Newell is a graduate of the University
of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Newell is Board Certified in Family Practice. Dr.
Susan Davis is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Davis is also Board Certified in Family Practice. The Birkam Health Center is
not a training site for medical or nursing students.
