Financial Aid
Attending college is a major expense, but Ferris offers strong financial aid packages
that can help your student meet his or her needs. There are a variety of federal,
state, and institutional financial aid opportunities for which your student may be
eligible for.
Ferris has a series of steps to follow for financial aid applications:
- In order to be considered for many forms of financial aid your student must first
be admitted to Ferris State University. Students can visit Ferris' web site and fill
out a free online admissions application to start the process.
- The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid must also have access to a completed
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your student must complete a FAFSA and indicate your student is considering attending Ferris. Ferris' school code is
002260.
- You are encouraged to complete the FAFSA online. In doing so, an electronic signature (PIN number) makes the process more convenient.
Both you and your student may apply for a PIN now!
