Officer Chamberlain is a patrol officer responsible for patrolling the campus. His duties include crime prevention, responding to emergency calls, and protecting people & property. Officer Chamberlain also serves the department as a bicycle patrol officer. He is a graduate of Ferris State University in 1993 and is currently working on his Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice.

Officer Chamberlain was a deputy for the Mecosta County Sheriff Department for 14 years and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Military in 1989. He has received specialized training in traffic crash reconstruction, worked as a school liaison officer for 2 years, has achieved certification as a class III Datamaster Operator, and is the FSU Police Department armorer for the S&W MP15 patrol rifle.
