The Lean Healthcare Certificate is designed to enhance opportunities for healthcare workers, currently possessing a baccalaureate degree, who are assuming leadership roles in lean systems and six sigma management within numerous healthcare organizations.

More specifically, it integrates process efficiency, process quality, value stream performance measurement and leadership techniques to assist the healthcare organization in achieving and sustaining optimal employee and operational performance.

General Admission Criteria
Applicants must have previously earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Official transcripts indicating the degree earned will be required prior to admission. Students currently enrolled in a Ferris bachelor degree program may declare the Lean Healthcare Minor in lieu of taking this certificate.
