FLINT, Mich. – Diplomat Pharmacy, Inc. has announced the promotion of Ferris State
University alumna Jennifer Hagerman to vice president of education and quality.
In her growing role at Diplomat, Hagerman will continue to lead and oversee Diplomat
University, an innovative division of the company that delivers custom education and
training to Diplomat employees and external professionals on topics unique to the
specialty pharmacy industry. Diplomat University also houses the quality assurance
department, which focuses on programs that promote quality and patient safety, as
well as our application for service excellence in accreditations and certifications
by a number of third-party agencies committed to industry best practices.

Prior to joining Diplomat, Hagerman served as an associate professor in Ferris’ College of Pharmacy, with a practice site at Hurley Medical Center, in Flint, Mich. In addition, she served for three years as an adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint.
Hagerman is active in the pharmacy profession. She has served as a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association Executive Board, since 2011, including a period as president, in 2015, and chair, in 2016. She has also served on the board of the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation. In 2009, Hagerman earned the MPA Distinguished New Pharmacy Practitioner Award.
Hagerman received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris’ College of Pharmacy,
in 2003. After graduation, she completed an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency
at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Mich.
